If you use rolled oats they may have more of a texture. If you feel comfortable troubleshooting the ratios just in case they’re a little more dry/wet then it should be fine!

Sure! You can get similar textures using dates (plus they have a great natural sweetness). Peanuts would totally work! The balls should hold their shape and not be too dry or too wet so adjusting...

We haven’t tried it, but it could work! Someone else had made theirs using dates. I’d assume roughly the same amount, maybe a tad less than what the recipe calls for.
